Worthington Shows the Way

Leading North West transport and distribution company, A K Worthington are again showing the way forward.

In response to the recent hikes in fuel excise duty brought in at the last budget, the company have concluded the purchase of a new fleet of fuel efficient "green" trucks to ensure that the business continues to be one of the leaders in the field.

The purchase of 10 (ten) ERF EC11's (Fuel Dual) will mean not only substantial savings on fuel, but also fewer emissions. The savings on fuel are estimated to be £3000 per vehicle per year, and according to Commercial Director, Rebecca Davies the vehicles are already exceeding the company's expectations.

The recent additions to the A K Worthington vehicle fleet bring the number of trucks operating out of the twin hubs in the heart of Trafford Park to 82.

A K Worthington operate from the newly completed 250,000 sq.ft. 26 BOND headquarters and nearby warehousing facility in Trafford Park.
